Please note: My prices have changed. My new prices will be posted soon! I will honor our current pricing for your first visit.
Have a wonderful day!
I have been working at the new salon for about a month and I’m loving it! I love the freedom, flexibility, independence, and free towel service! Seriously, there’s not much I don’t love about this place! We have a receptionist that books appointments for the stylists over the phone but I thought I’d try something new! You can now book your appointments online! It’s free, easy, and the link is either in the sidebar to the right or all the way at the bottom of the page if you are reading this on a mobile device! As soon as you schedule an appointment it alerts me and adds it to my calendar. Give it a shot and let me know what you think! Do you prefer to call, text, or book online?
I recently moved to a new salon in Orange and am now accepting new clients. I am no longer mobile unless it is out of town. Since I now have a weekly booth rent to pay I had to adjust my pricing. Please check out the new services and pricing tab above, the menu located in the tool bar, or the picture inserted below.

I have not written in so long. I take that back, I have not POSTED in a long time. A little over a month really. I have experienced sorrow and joy but all I want to say this, hold your loved ones closely. Treat each other kindly. Show your love in all ways whether with words or in your actions. Laugh more. Dream more.
I had a friend pass recently and it left me shocked and heartbroken. I regret not speaking with him more often and missing his summer nuptials.
In that time of darkness God gifted Michael and I with great friends to help us keep our chin up. We were able to take a camping trip and it really helped us keep our minds off of life.
Our first camping trip together.
At the root of a fallen sequoia tree.
Taking a break from our hike.

After our camping trip we were able to take am extra day off of work to show our friend around town while he was visiting. We spent most of the day at the beach getting tan and gorgeous!

Floppy hats :)
Burns so good!

Our third wedding anniversary was on the 16th of June so the Saturday before we had our pictures taken to celebrate us!
These were taken by my sister in law Christina. She is in the San Diego area so if you want to get photos taken with here check out her facebook!
For me, Easter is about celebrating Jesus with my family. A friend told me over the weekend that she doesn’t observe Easter because she celebrates the resurrection every day. I felt kind of bad because she has a point. We have taken the meaning out of these holidays that are meant to observe Jesus and have made it about Santa and a bunny. Lucky for me, I have a great family who reminds me why we celebrate. Jesus is to be celebrated every day.
We recently left a church and are in search for a new one. One where we can find community and love. I was raised in the church and I didn’t really have a say in where I attended. When I turned 17, I rebelled. I told someone recently that I feel like 17 was the worst year of my life (So far. I’m only 24). I fell away from God and relied on others for joy and love. If I hadn’t dated Michael during that time I probably wouldn’t have gone back to church. He insisted we go every Sunday.
I came back to The Lord when I was 19. I met a lot of people while working in the salon that really challenged my faith. I thought I knew so much since being raised in church and now I don’t feel like I know anything. I guess what I’m saying is, I have been questioning everything I have ever learned. I’ve said this before on my blog but I am in such a different place in my life and its scary and exciting. I talk to a lot of people with different beliefs that really interest me. All I know is that I want to learn so much about God I can’t hardly stand it. I hope to find a community of people who challenge my faith and in return I grow closer to God.
Sorry for this random babble, some things just need to be shared.
At every holiday we spend the day eating, playing games and watching movies. This weekend was particularly special because we celebrated my grandparents 50th wedding anniversary. On Friday evening we took a dinner cruise around San Diego bay with my family.
After church on Sunday we came home and made breakfast. I am a terrible cook but luckily I didn’t have to do it alone. My sister Mikayla spent the weekend with us so she was able to help prepare the food.
We spent the rest of Easter Sunday with my family; minus my mom, Josh and Jackie.
